This is beautiful yarn the pattern I chose used this particular yarn so followed all the guidelines ordered it .It is a challenging pattern as it is mostly cable pattern. The yarn was easy with and looks good . I haven’t quite finished the cardigan so unable to send a picture. I would definitely work with Cascade Yarns again. The one point I would make is that the garment has taken more yarn than the amount given on the pattern
This was the recommended yarn for a scarf pattern that I am knitting for my granddaughter. The pumpkin orange of this yarn is just beautiful. I live near corporate Joann's in Ohio and could not find a color or ply that I thought would work. This yarn is perfect! It is extremely soft and although I have not washed to "block" yet, the name "superwash" gives me confidence that it will wash well. I love Cascade 128 superwash merino wool yarn. Extremely soft and so nice to work with. It comes in so many beautiful colors. I knit detail patterns and this yarn works up great. Great stitch definition.
The yarn is wonderful to knit with. I have knit several lap robes with it and love the feel of it in my hands. Even though it is “Superwash,” I still recommend to recipients to hand-wash in cold water, gently, and air-dry (I would use spreading it out on the top of my clothes rack). I still recommend trying knitting with this yarn. It truly is a joy to work with.
Knitted up lovely into a winter hat. Wool is soft and washable...a huge bonus.
Although Cascade is my favorite yarn brand, I had never used this exact yarn before. I really love it. It comes in lots of colors, and seems to be of the same high quality as my other Cascade products. I needed a heavier yarn for the project I was planning, and this slightly bulky yarn was perfect. I will no doubt order more in the future.
The sweater I knitted for one month to give to my son for his birthday grew enormously in the wash, with tearing and pilling like I have never seen. I get it, superwash yarn grew in the wash, but not like this with my other previous knit projects with King Cole Merino. Wasted time, wasted money going down the drain. Humpfh.
