Cascade 220 is 100% Peruvian highland wool, 200m (219yds) per skein, knitting to 18–20 stitches over 10cm on 4.50mm–5.00mm (US 7–US 8) needles; recommended crochet hooks 4.50mm (G) to 5.00mm (H).
It is a firm, round, hard-wearing wool with the stitch definition that cables and textured patterns need, and it blooms and evens out after blocking. Great for colorwork projects
I like the lovely color range. I use it for colorwork projects. I'm using it for the nocturnal sweater by Saskie in three colors. It will felt a bit with time, which is good for colorwork. It is not my first and certainly not my last time using this yarn.
