Bought 3 skeins of DCM 5 -550 Dark purple cotton to make braids to edge and make a strap for a felted bag. Was using a 7-strand braid card, using double on each slot for one particular braid. Used x4 strands per slot in making the strap.. but I am making two more x4 per slot to plait the strap for strength. Really delighted to use this cotton. Ps. Price was just right too for each skein.
This is very hard to find locally and LoveCrafts have a wonderful selection of colors. Perfect!
I have now used the cotton yarn, I crocheted eyes for a couple of Beeju toys and they look really cute on them and really brought the toys alive. All in all very pleased with product and would recommend.
Typically at the moment I buy embroidery threads and Lovecrafts have a good range of colours and fabric. I have bought yarns from them also and love their Paintbox DK cotton range as again they have such a good range of colours.
