Excellent service from Lovecraft and at the right price. Had originally bought this Rowan Glace yarn direct from Rowan to use on one of their patterns which is not knitting up as a '4 ply' as it indicates. Therefore I needed more yarn which I ordered from Rowan using the only reference on the ball band RG873 which is soft green. They sent me the wrong shade RG870 a soft blue, now the yarn is no longer available at a sale price with Rowan and no way to complain! So I turned to tried and trusted...

Cotton Glace knits up nicely. However, I usually have to use a slightly larger needle than recommended both to get the suggested row guage as well as to have a slightly less tight fabric than I like. Colors are nice. Yarn keeps its sheen pretty well; doesn't pill like some other cotton yarns.

I love Lovecrafts!

Honestly this stuff is lovely, super colours and nice to work with, but it is marked on the site as a DK and it definitely isn't. It is much thinner, I'd say it is about equivalent to a four-ply.
