Product Description
Fingerless mitts with both colour and textural interest. The mitts have a gusseted thumb and are worked in the round from cuff to fingers.
Sample was knitted in Jamieson and Smith 2 ply jumper weight yarn. Other 4-ply/fingering weight yarns should also work well, especially those with more than 50% wool content to provide elasticity, such as Jamieson's Shetland Spindrift which is stocked by LoveKnitting. To achieve a dense fabric, a smaller size of needle is used than recommended on the ball band.
Note on needles: Choose needles for your preferred method of working in the round.
