The perfect cardigan for springtime, worked in a pretty lace pattern from the bottom up to armholes. Sleeves worked separate, then joined to raglan yoke, which is worked in stocking stitch with the same lace pattern running down the centre. Sewing up the side of sleeves is the only seaming required. Comes with a lace chart, as well as the lace pattern written out in full. Pattern has been test knitted, and technical edited.

The pattern must be American, it's full of references to (totally unnecessary in my opinion) markers which I have never used and didn't this time. Apart from that irritation it's not too bad. I'm about to do the most complicated part so we'll see how it goes! I think you need to be an experienced knitter for this one. I'll try to remember to post a photo when it's finished.
This pattern would be confusing if you were not an experienced knitter, I think. I have made an adjustment too, as a personal choice, adding 2 rows of stocking stitch before casting off for under arm stitches. For me, this will make it easier to join the sleeves than the lace pattern It is a very pretty pattern and I love how the Stylecraft Cotton Bamboo looks in this design.
Yarn arrived in good time and pattern was a download. Knitting up lively but haven’t finished yet so reason for 4 stars. I do miss the organza bags that the yarn used to arrive in!
