G is for Girl (a soft doll)

Some kids like stuffed animals. Some kids like dolls. Yarn Miracle has something for everyone.

When knit to gauge, Girls will measure about 16.5” from head to toe. If you are looking to make a doll in one of the darker skin toes, you have it made: there are many beautiful natural fiber yarns available in browns and tans. You'll have to look a little harder for a pallid skin match. I worked the example Girl in with discontinued Blue Sky Alpacas color-grown organic cotton. My top suggestion of an available yarn is Ecobutterfly Organic Farfalle. Farfalle is available in several color-grown shades that are great for skin tones - even a couple for the SPF80 set. A modest amount of yarn in matching weight will be required for her knit-on undies.
