Never worked with silk before - not the easiest thing in the world and took some getting used to, partially because the yarn is so fine and slick. Hardest part was actually untangling it while trying to wind it into a ball. But the finished project (an Estonian lace wedding shawl) is absolutely stunning and I can't wait to present it to the bride on her wedding day!

Really gorgeous lace yarn, the silk provides great sheen, while still keeping a very soft handle. Great range of colours. One ball had five knots, and I haven't even used it all, but I guess these things can happen, the other balls are looking fine.
