The garment is knitted flat, has side, sleeve and shoulder seams with stitches picked up to complete pocket tops, front bands and self lined collar. The jacket features intarsia poppies as shown in the swatch or may be worked in a solid colour by simply omitting the poppies and ignoring any reference to chart placement. If you prefer, you can of course replace the poppies with any motif you like.
