Although this worked fine, I wanted to find a way to create a scrunchie with as little seaming as possible for a sleeker look, so I created a pattern using Double Pointed Needles and the invisible seaming method. If you have never used DPNs before, this is an ideal beginner pattern as it is very simple, just knit stitches with no increases, decreases or shaping involved.
