I made my choices by colour and texture mostly, to make the muff most interesting to look at and touch.\u003c\/p\u003e\u003cp\u003eThis pattern consists of knit and purl stitches, bobbles, stranded colour work, slipped stitches and yarn overs, and the muff is knitted in the flat and joined after completion. There are many other additions I played around with but did not include because of the restricted space: small tubes (32 stitches knitted in the round over 50 rows), zippers, Velcro, poppers, fringing, pleats, and many more.
