This is a pattern for a hat that is knit completely sideways, using short row shaping for the crown. It is meant to be worn with up to 2 inches of negative ease.
It is available in 7 sizes as follows:

Crown to Ear 4.25”/10.8cm, 5”/12.7cm, 5.75”/14.6cm, (6.5”/16.5cm, 7.25”/18.4cm, 8.25”/21cm, 9.25”/23.5cm)
When choosing a size, it is important to know the recipient's head measurement as the average measurement are not accurate for all people.
