Willow & Lark Heath

Perfect for the job!! Personally I like 100% wool but wanted to knit a sweater for someone who prefers a combination of fibres, particularly because of ease of laundering. I chose Willow and Lark Heath and am super pleased 😀 It's 50% wool, 39% acrylic and 11% viscose . . a wonderful combination for softness, washability and drape. It's soft, beautiful to knit with and has a lovely fleck of various colours within the main colour. I chose number 9, seaglass, and it's a lovely soft greyish blue....

Great feel to the yarn. I worked through a number of balls, and have had no knots or inconsistencies. I’d love more color choices…(hint hint)

When on sale, was a decent price point.

Lovely wool. Knits up very well. It’s the first time I had used it. I made a beanie hat for my daughter and she is thrilled with the softness and colour of the wool. The pattern was accurate and very easy to read. Will definitely be purchasing again.

A Fairisle jumper pattern. Knitted one for myself, am on the third for daughters in law/daughters and this wool is for the final daughter. They all want one like mine! The wool is good to feel and the colours are beautiful.

This is lovely yarn. It knits up beautifully and feels lovely to the touch. I can't comment as to washability as I haven't finished the garment yet. I am making a long hooded cardigan Julie by Patons

The yarn is very soft. I have only just started knitting with it and it’s knitting up well. Very pleased with it so far.

The Willow and Lark wool is very nice to knit with. The pattern I used underestimated the quantity of wool ( or maybe my tension wrong!) and Love crafts able to supply additional balls of wool.

Willow and Lark make some outstanding quality yarns of soft pastel colours to tweedy mixes. It knits up beautifully.

Lovely colours and easy to knit with, I used it for fairisle patterns.
