The large shawl is 108x108 centimeters and the small shawl is 98x98 centimeters after blocking.\u003c\/p\u003e\u003cp\u003eThe middle of the blanket is knitted back and forth while the lace edge is knitted in the round. The pattern is written for a knitter who is able to follow written instructions as well as follow a lace chart, work increase and decrease and knows how to work short rows.(Directions is a combination of chart and written text).\u003c\/p\u003e\u003cp\u003eThis pattern calls for a yarn with a 27 stitch count per 10 centimeters gauge. i.e. a yardage of approximately 175-180 meters per 50 grams.
