King Cole Cosmos

I have used this yarn twice to make Juicy Gloss by Asja Janeczek. I held the Cosmos with a fingering weight yarn. Talk about glitz! The sparkle factor is just fabulous. The yarn is easy to manage, even when held double. I had very minimal tangling while knitting. The yarn is fine enough to not affect my gauge, and the sequins are firmly attached to the base thread. love this stuff but wish there were more sequins on the thread. they are spaced pretty far apart (3.25in or 8.5cm between each sequin), so to get a bunch of sequins when using it as a carrying thread, you would probably need to use like 4 or 5 strands of this. Sequins at the cut end of the thread fall off easily too, so its a lot of silver thread with sparse sequins. Useful for carrying along with fingering or sock weight yarn that uses small hooks to maximize amount of sequins per inch, but...

Gold base is nice, but the sequin colours are completely different to those in the image. Pink and green (which really stand this out from other similar yarns) are nowhere to be seen, instead the sequins are black, red, blue and silver - similar to colourway 1100 starburst. This gives the yarn a completely different look, I would not have purchased if I had seen these colours advertised.

I love bling, and this product was true bling - perfect for starting some Christmas projects for next winter.
