Rico Essentials Cotton DK

Rico Essential cotton dk is AMAZING!! I thank the yarn Wizards the day LoveCrafts delivered my order! It has a soft sheen to the fibers knits up beautifully! I make alot of dolls, finger puppets, animals... that all come out amazingly soft vibrant. The yarn washes well holds it shape. My one only gripe is they have trouble keeping it in stock, but they email me as soon as it's back in. (Ha, probably a good example of it's popularity!) Perfect yarn for my handmade crochet tops and dresses. I need a high volume of yarn for the latter and this cotton works quickly, comfortably and is good value for money. Will be back for more!

Soft pliable cotton, easy to use, used for child's bolero. Holds its shape well. Nice selection of colours. Pattern for bolero easy to follow, quick to make, and no real sewing up to do 🤗

I actually bought the yarn to make luxurious tassels for a blanket. I've been able to make 5 from each ball using about 20m for each. They look fab and I was able to find the perfect colours from the Rico range.

Best yarn ever, tried lots of different ones, always go back to Rico Essential, love it! Crochets well, stays in shape, wears well, washes well.

Beautiful yarn with a wide range of colours. Knits/crochets easily and feels soft to the touch.

Lovely yarn. Nice to knit with and the stitch definition is very good. Some splitting but it's not bad and splitting is one of the occupational hazards of knitting with cotton, even if it's mercerised. I would use this yarn again.

Finer than I was expecting, more like merino/aran but a gorgeous sheen to it. Very soft, perfect for baby blanket project.

It splits constantly, crocheting with it is a nightmare. I had to go back redo sections because it splits so much. Would not recommend to anyone!

Pattern accurate and yarn knits up beautifully. Very easy to keep the gauge and the garment fit exactly as it should.
