I’ve not used this particular order yet, but have knitted a couple of other items in it. It’s a good quality yarn that produces a nice texture when knitted up. Soft and easy to knit, holds my tension well. A bit on the expensive side to knit large items though. A good price with the offer this time. Being a pensioner couldn’t afford it at full price.
Knitting with Moordale yarn on Martin Storeys design from both his books . Knitting Pippit shawl in turmeric on circular needle. Very easy pattern just 4 rows but very effective. Love how it gradually increases. Have only reached 300 stitches yet with another 245 to go but it will look amazing. It has to be knitted in a circular needle however which is also easy. Have also purchased the yarn in peony and sloe to knit shawls fir family. Very soft wool and amazing colours. Am fixated in this yarn...
Rowan Moordale is great wool to work with and it’s top quality with amazing selection of colours you won’t see anywhere else. English yarn with Alpaca make it do warm and soft. Have purchased a variety of colours for several projects knitting from Martin Storeys book I am now about to use the circular needles to begin knitting Pippit which is a lovely shawl from Martin Storeys book using Moordale and with 10%discount and purchasing large quantities the discount makes it even more worthwhile....
Fabulous wool great to knit with fantastic colours to choose from its British wool with Alpaca and very soft. Currently knitting 2 wraps called Pippit one of Martin Storeys designs from ‘Rowan Moordale’ Book in Turmeric and Sloe both fabulous colours. Highly recommend Love Crafts who pack products in fabulous organza bags and delivered by trusting and friendly couriers.
Yarn knitting up great very soft but the tension of the pattern was all wrong and l couldn’t work out what to do so after contacting Pauline she asked me to take a photo of the pattern and send it to her. She agreed the tension was wrong in the pattern which was a relief otherwise l could not commence the project. I would not have been been provided with this help had l have shopped elsewhere. I am however currently knitting the scarves as these are presents fir Xmas. The pattern is lovely and...
