Schachenmayr Catania Color

I've now bought the shades Clown and Africa, and they're both beautiful and the way the colors work up is very satisfying! Whether solid colors or variegated, Schachenmayr Catania is an excellent, sturdy brand of cotton; it gives me a lot of confidence that my amigurumi--whether keychains and bag tags or regular stuffies--won't snag or deform! I've been looking for this type and color of yarn for two years and was unable to find it until I came across LoveCraft. One skein makes one adult hat. Love the variation and secondary pattern the variegated yarn made. Crocheted perfectly; no splits.

Hard to fault this yarn... it knits up easily and has good stitch definition. The nature of cotton means it isn't as soft or stretchy as some other yarns but the colours are beautiful and in my experience a true likeness to the images shown. I'm using this for a baby blanket but would probably not use it for clothing like hats etc where you need the stretch.

Wonderful yarn I am a real cotton fan as I am allergic to wool. Have made a phone sock and now making a sweater for my 18 month old grandson, the colour variation is great. I did not want a self patterning yarn so this is very good. For my next purchase of this I will make a cardigan for myself.

Crocheted a scarf and matching headband. Yarn is soft and very easy to work with and the colour graduation is lovely.

Beautiful rainbow yarn. I have never used Sports weight yarn before but am looking forward to knitting my first jumper for my new grandchild

I used this yarn for warp and weft, the colors are strong and lovely. I really liked the feel of the cloth once done. Some were drapey and loose and some were solid and blanket like. I plan on using some for a baby blanket.

The knitting wool is high quality, a pleasure to work with and the multicolor is brillliant.

For a cotton yarn this is very smooth and almost silky, I plan to buy more and make myself a nice loose shawl.
