Great service as always
A nice pattern - some of the neck shaping instructions are a bit hard to follow, but the explanations are good.

Like the gin, this sweater is appropriate for any occasion. Tanqueray is a classic pullover, featuring a deep V with an intricate ribbing that continues around the shoulders and is seamed together at the back of the neck. The cotton yarn adds a rustic touch and a little texture to the stockinette, and it makes my favorite little flowers so wonderfully delicate. The sleeve cuffs echo the ribbed flower and lace accent, and twisted ribbing stands out against the simple body. The weight is perfect for almost any occasion and the detail is subtle enough for any outfit. It's both a wear everywhere sweater and a simple summer knit, and so far I have not taken this one off! The sweater is worked in pieces and seamed. I wanted a tailored fit and know cotton can grow over time so feel the seams add some insurance. The finished Tanqueray is pictured in Green Mountain Spinnery, Cotton Comfort in Silver.
Tanqueray is a classic pullover sweater designed by Thea Colman of BabyCocktails. This versatile garment features a deep V-neckline and is constructed to be a wear-everywhere design suitable for any occasion. The sweater offers a tailored, refined aesthetic while maintaining the comfort and breathability of a summer knit. Available in nine sizes with finished bust measurements ranging from 33.5 inches to 57 inches around, this design accommodates a wide range of body types with 2.5 inches of positive ease built into the fit.
This intermediate-level knitting project emphasizes fit and subtle design details. The construction showcases several key techniques that elevate the design beyond a basic stockinette pullover. The sweater features an intricate ribbed V-neckline that extends down the front and continues around the shoulders, meeting at the back neck for a cohesive, structured look. Twisted ribbing is used strategically to create visual interest and contrast against the simple stockinette body. The sleeve cuffs echo the ribbed flower and lace accent details found at the neckline, creating design continuity throughout the garment. The use of circular or straight needles allows knitters to choose their preferred construction method.
The recommended yarn is Green Mt. Spinnery Cotton Comfort in Silver, a cotton-based fiber that adds a rustic quality and subtle texture to the stockinette sections while remaining delicate enough to maintain the tailored appearance of the design. The yarn weight is DK to sport weight, appropriate for the intermediate difficulty level and the refined aesthetic of this sweater. Total yardage requirements vary by size, ranging from 1000 yards for the smallest size (33.5" bust) to 1950 yards for the largest size (57" bust), with each skein containing 180 yards.
Needles: US #5 (3.75mm) circular or straight needles, sized to achieve the required gauge. Notions: A darning needle for weaving in ends and stitch markers for tracking pattern repeats and shaping points. Gauge: 5 stitches per inch, which is essential to achieve the proper fit and drape of this fitted pullover.
