Product Description
Torran is a top-down cabled sweater inspired by stormy seas and rolling waves. It features a wide neckline and softly emerging and disappearing cable panels at the mid-front and sides.
This casual, gently A-lined raglan sweater is worked in one piece from the top down. Short-row shaping is used to create a rounded neckline. Decreases and increases are placed at front and back darts to create a gently flowing shape that is flattering for a wide variety of body shapes and sizes. Knitted in a drapey merino/linen blend, this is a comfortable summer wear. Pair with skinny jeans for an effortless look that is perfect for a day at the seaside.
The pattern is written with both metric and US terminology. Both written and charted instructions are given for the cable panels. The pattern includes a photo tutorial for German short rows.
Gauge: 23.5 sts x 36 rows = 4" in stockinette on larger needles, blocked.
