I worried about how I’d get on with this hook, as I’d never used or even held an ergonomic hook before. I find that the hook is deceptively light and once you get used to how different and natural it feels in your hand, it’s brilliant. I no longer have struggles with getting the right tension, and my stitches have never been more perfect! These hooks are the most affordable I’ve found and I’m definitely going to invest in more.
I really like these hooks. They are easy and comfortable to hold and the metal hook is smooth, it has a nice shape to the hook making it easier to put your stitches in the right place.

Mum loves the hook - she has arthritis in her fingers - makes it easier than using a thin hook.
The ergonomic hooks mean no more aching fingers. The handles fit nicely in the hand meaning no thumb and index finger type repetitive strain type discomfort. They are really easy to manipulate, and feel comfortable in your hand. Since discovering these hooks I've bought nearly a complete set despite them being a bit more expensive, but worth it because I can keep on with whatever I'm making for much longer. I won't be using any other hooks from now on. Oh, and they are quite colourful too 🙂.
I normally use a plain metal crochet hook with no handle, but got used to this straight away and now love it.

I think for most people this would be great, I can see that the handle would fit the hand perfectly and be comfortable to hold - but unfortunately it doesn't suit me at all, because I don't hold the hook at that angle when I crochet, and since I've been crocheting for over 50 years now I think it's too late to change. It's quite uncomfortable to hold at the angle I need to use it, so I had to tape around it to be able to work with it (I needed the size) as it was rubbing a red patch on my hand...
