The wool felt good . Knitted up well. I had enough wool ( the person has huge feet! ) I am using my pattern from1961 which is tried and tested. I went back to knitting socks when my 103 year old neighbour had to stop and passed me her remaining wool!!
This yarn comes in some beautiful colors. It's nice yarn, but can be a little "splitty."

The yarn appears to be so old that it is rotting! Fuzzing, splitting, unraveling. Not what I have come to expect from the Austermann Step product. I have loved this yarn manufacturer and it has been difficult to find a source for it in the USA for several years. I was excited. I AM VERY DISAPPOINTED!
