I've been longing to give a review for this wool it is scrumptious. I love they way its only 50 miles fro. Sheep to product being made its a family firm the sheep are cared for and what a product its so easy to knit with so bouncy no joins in the wool what's so ever. It knit up beautifully. The pattern I used was for a cable knit dress from 1967. The Irish wool called for was no longer available, so I bought the Debbie Bliss aran wool as a substitute. It was a perfect substitute.
Lovely wool to work with. Good definition for cable design I have chosen. It will certainly be a warm jumper. I loved the colour range, chose Willow and was not disappointed. In my opinion this wool is very good value. It arrived promptly, the service is always excellent from LoveCrafts.
This is a very knittable wool- the colour is classic and the weight is perfect for aran knits. Only drawback is availability - desperately waiting for a restock.
