Beautiful quality wool. Very pleasant to knit with the stitch definition is good. Slightly on the thin side for double knit. I used an alternative pattern due to the tension. I had to go up a needle size for the lacy pattern i wanted but the 'holes' were too big. I opted for a cable pattern which was much better as I was able to use the suggested needle size.

Yarn great mix of wool and acrylic- good for finishing "Gueric" jersey I'm knitting for grandson- soft but washable (that's the jersey, not the grandson!!) The free pattern looks lovely but took a massive amount of deciphering. At the end of it, the neckband instructions are most mysterious and even won't work, I think, as it says: "Rib 2cm for neckband (Ok- fine, as usual), then do several rows of stocking stitch in any colour" ....what on earth is that for??
It's soft for a wool blend and has a lovely elasticity. I'm using it for a heavily called Patten and it's not fighting me at all.

This yarn not exactly as website showed but pretty colour. Needed more yarn to complete project and batch numbers matched which I was pleased with.
This yarn is a reasonably priced wool/ acrylic blend. It’s easy to knit and has a good appearance when knitted up. I haven’t washed any garments yet and I am not sure how it will wear but so far so good.
