I use a lot of cotton yarn and it has always been good quality. Here is a recent one I’ve done in Paintbox Cotton, Lipstick Pink (Col 452), Baby Girls Jacket with Lace Collar. The sizing is very accurate and I get most of my patters from LoveCrafts.

The yarn is good but I found it slipping off the cable needle and it is very difficult to knit with, I a of coarse comparing it to the other yarns I used. I do not think I will knit this make again , I have knitted cotton yarn before but the was softer and not a twisted yarn , this one feels like knitting with cotton string. I used 6 balls so far and the last one the yarn was joined with a knot and may be this is ok ,I don't know ,but it took me ages to release it and rejoin it myself as I was...
I am a very experienced knitter and I am not impressed with this cotton yarn, it is hard and knitted on 4mm needles as recommended resulted in an uneven knit on stocking stitch.
