I like the nice soft wool. It is easy to knit with and has no splitting. I use it for a cable patterned toddlers jumper and a couple of toddler jumper patterns. I really like the wool. It's worth the extra price you pay for wool. Obviously, I will knit lots in cheaper wool, but for special knits, it’s great.
Fabulous to work with. Soft and strong and, as cotton, maybe less damaging to the environment. Doubtless. the production process will have some environmental costs, but as a natural fibre, it will ultimately biodegrade. Glorious colours and excellent stitch definition.
I love Rowan’s summerlite DK. It’s soft with a slight lustre. I purchased navy and white. These are 2 contrasting colours. I first tried a knit sample, then washed it. There was no bleeding, and sweater had a soft feel. I knit this on a LK150.
A gentle knit. Fabulous colour.r. Smoith citton yarn. . Easy to knit with even stitches. Relatively little yarn memory when unravelling.. All lively.

This is very nice cotton yarn. As others have commented it is easy on the hands and although I have tendonitis had no problems. It frogs quite well for cotton too.
I’m using Rowan Summerlite DK to make a summer tank top. Still perfect for this project. Knits up and blocks beautifully.
