Disappointing yarn performance
It's not knitting up as smooth as before, although it's the same composition on the label. I use it for baby cardigans. Not well, I've ripped them out.

Extremely disappointed, the yarn is not like the previous snuggly yarn. It is harsh and stiff and I don’t feel I can use the knitted cardigan as the intended baby gift. I will not bother knitting up the other colour I bought. Such a shame, as the old yarn was my staple baby yarn
I was able to make a beautiful hooded baby sweater with this yarn. Yarn was good quality wit great stitch definition.
I have been knitting with Sirdar Snuggly yarn for over 40 years and it is still the best and affordable yarn to purchase. Plenty of colour choices for all tastes and it always knits up beautifully. As to patterns ...I have have bought some newer ones but truthfully I tend to knit with the ones I bought for my own Daughters back in 1970 (Sirdar/Robin patterns) Stylecraft being a new pattern which knitted up beautifully.
It has a soft feel and is nice to knit with. I'm using it for a jumper.
I am very pleased with the wool. I'm using it for a jumper that is nearly finished. It is easy to knit with.
I ordered Oatmeal, but the colour is more of a pale lemon. The colour is nothing like the shade shown on the website. The colour is nothing like the photo. I'm disappointed. I haven't used it yet.
This yarn is easy to knit with and knits up well. The finished garment is nice and soft but also lightweight. A 50g ball goes along way too and there is a good choice of colours. This is my go to staple yarn.
Sirdar is the only wool I would knit with and as an 81yr old and with grandchildren and gt grandchildren I am always knitting!I have just completed 6 jumpers for one of them!all in sirdar, its soft to feel and machine washes perfectly. I will never knit with any other brand!thank you sirdar you are the BEST very happy customer!
I have been using Sirdar Snuggly regularly for over 40 years. Firstly for my own children and other family members. I now belong to my Church charitable knitting group and continue to use Sirdar Snuggly. It’s beautifully soft and washes extremely well with an amazing range of colours.
