Aran sweaters are great fun to knit, some are very challenging, but they don't have to be. The cables and patterns on these sweaters are all worked on the same rows so it is easy to keep track of your work. Many Aran knitting classes have been taught using this pattern which is a very nice compliment. In fact this was such a popular pattern that knitters asked me for the same sweater but for adult's, so I designed pattern #20 Adult Aran Sweaters.
The sweaters are knit in pieces and sewn together.

I love the pattern. It knits up beautifully and although some of the instructions were a little confusing, once I read through it and got started it is pretty easy. I bought Paint Box simply DK yarn which I absolutely love to knit with and prefer overall.
