Flowing Baroque

I designed this baroque pattern because I’ve always loved the look, it’s so classic and beautiful.

This pattern is designed in US terms. An overlay mosaic crochet pattern, so all single crochet are in the back loop, and all double crochet is in the front loop of the stitch directly below 2 rows down, so the row of the same colour that you are using, there are no fancy stitches with this pattern.

Flowing Baroque has a huge 109 rows for each repeat, so you could create a wall hanging or table runner, or a classic blanket. I made a wall hanging and I stopped at 1.5 repeats because I felt it was the perfect size.

I used DK yarn, Lionbrand Mandala cake Griffin for my background colour, I used 2 cakes. And Hayfield Bonus DK for my detailed work in Graphite, 4 balls.
