Attractive WW11 doll. Fun to knit for an expert.
Great fun to make, but VERY fiddly! Definitely for an expert knitter. Clear instructions, with especially detailed instructions for embroidering the face, which was useful.
Frances is a happy WW2 land girl, knitted mainly in stocking stitch. Although a gauge is given, tension is not essential for this project. As the doll is knitted using only small amounts of yarn, this is an ideal 'stash buster' project.
