Project Overview

The Happy Hearty Vest is a delicate knitted layering piece designed for babies aged 6-18 months. The design prioritizes comfort and ease of wear for active infants.

Construction Method

This vest is worked flat from the bottom up and constructed to be completely seamless, eliminating uncomfortable seams that can irritate delicate baby skin. The garment is built section by section, with each section clearly marked in the pattern instructions. The design features i-cord edging throughout, which adds a refined finish while maintaining maximum comfort for the wearer. The flat construction method allows for straightforward shaping and precise gauge control.
