Product Description
This is a pattern for a light weight wrap. It's knit using a heavy weight fingering yarn. It is comprised of two very different cabled stitches, one being a cable lace and the other is a more conventional Aran cable. Both cables are surrounded by an unusual mesh stitch that shows of the cable work. If you love cabling, this may be a pattern that you would like to try.
Skill Level: Intermediate (assuming a basic knowledge of both cabling and lace knitting)
There are also instructions contained within the pattern for an optional crocheted edging.
Any heavy fingering weight yarn or sport weight yarn yielding 5 sts/inch using size U.S. #5 (3.75mm) needles in cable lace stitch aggressively blocked, will work for this pattern/shawl.
