Review summary
Most reviewers are pleased with how the doll looks and how easy it is to use, and some say it is a good way to use up yarn. One reviewer described it as bringing back childhood memories of French knitting. Complaints are uncommon; one reviewer found the yarn slips off before stitches form.

WHEN I SAW THIS I WAS INSTANTLY TAKEN BACK TO MY CHILDHOOD WHEN MY DAD WOULD HAMMER 4 NAILS INTO AN EMPTY BOBBIN AND I WOULD BE GIVEN SCRAPS OF WOOL TO DO MY FRENCH KNITTING WITH, I MADE SLIPPERS FOR MY UNCLE AT XMAS, EGG COVERS, DOLLS CLOTHESAND HAD LOADS OF FUN. SO WHEN I SAW THIS I JUST HAD TO "HAVE A GO" AND IT IS JUST AS I REMEMBERED OH HAPPY DAYS
Good once I had remembered how to do it it's been a long time and a very good way to use up yarn. Using both dolls at the same.
Bought to practise the technique which I was trying to teach my 5 year old granddaughter and looked easier to use than the device she had, It is easier to use!
Nicely made and attractive for children
Bought for a present so not used yet but looks great
The yarn falls off before you can actually create any stitches. Will need to bend the tines more to be effective.
