Seeds and Stags Headband

Note: this pattern is on a Dyslexia friendly yellow, please take this into account if you want to print it.

Size: knit to the size of your head.

Needles: 4.5mm

Yarn: I used Mrs Moon Plump DK.

Techniques Norwegian cast on Cables Knit Purl 3 needle bind off- I include a video of my ‘hack’ to this to do it on 2 needles, which I find easier. It’s also great if you only have 2 needles to hand.

These cables don’t cross so it’s really easy to see if you’re getting them right. They always go one way so they are a good way to start cables. The seed stitch starts every time on a purl and ends on a purl as there is an odd number of seed stitches. This means it’s a great pattern to first try seed stitch because you don’t need to remember when to swap between knits and purls. Just remember to purl when you start the seed stitch sections every time and you’ll be great!
