Sasha Kagan

Pattern, colour and texture are key to Sasha Kagan's take on contemporary hand knitting. She produces highly individual collections of timeless, wearable pieces inspired by her rural location. Living in the countryside her colours are influenced by the subtle changes of each season- the fresh bright colours of Spring, the rusts, olives and ochres of Autumn. Each garment is hand knitted in the UK and finished by Sasha in her Wales studio. The pieces are knitted with 100% natural fibres such as cashmere, alpaca wool, silk and cotton. Sasha has authored seven books on hand knit and crochet design, and continues to give lectures and workshops worldwide. Her mission is to promote hand knitting and crochet as contemporary collectable art forms. Individual commissions are a speciality.
